Fa Cup game Of the Week:West Ham2-2Manchester United

Manchester United grabbed a stoppage time goal to deny West Ham a famous victory at Upton Park. Tom Cleverley put the Red devils ahead after he side-footed the ball into the net. However James Collins equalised soon after with his first goal for the club when Joe Cole (making his second debut for the club) crossed and James Collins headed in. 59 minutes gone and it was an action replay. Joe Cole crossed and James Collins headed in again.

Manchester United were running out of time so Sir Alex Ferguson threw on Robin van Persie to do his magic. And he did. Soon after Ryan Giggs' header cleared the crossbar, van Persie scored from inside the area into the bottom left corner. And that sent that the match to a replay.

Other results were: Brighton 2-0 Newcastle, Wigan 1-1 Bournemouth, Tottenham 3-0 Coventry, Southend 2-2 Brentford, Southampton 1-5 Chelsea, Sheffield Wednesday 0-0 MK Dons, QPR 1-1 West Brom, Peterborough 0-3 Norwich, Oxford 0-3 Sheffield United, Nottingham Forest 2-3 Oldham, Millwall 1-0 Preston, Middlesbrough 4-1 Hastings, Manchester City 3-0 Watford, Macclesfield 2-1 Cardiff, Luton 1-0 Wolves, Leicester 2-0 Burton, Leeds 1-1 Birmingham, Hull 1-1 Leyton Orient, Fulham 1-1 Blackpool, Derby 5-0 Tranmere, Crystal Palace 0-0 Stoke, Crawley 1-3 Reading, Charlton 0-1 Huddersfield, Bolton 2-2 Sunderland, Blackburn 2-0 Bristol City, Barnsley 1-0 Burnley, Aston Villa 2-1 Ipswich, Aldershot 3-1 Rotherham, Swansea 2-2 Arsenal, Mansfield 1-2 Liverpool, Cheltenham 1-5 Everton.

The fourth round ties will be: Bolton/Sunderland vs Everton, Brighton vs Swansea/Arsenal, Crystal Palace/Stoke vs Manchester City, Derby vs Blackburn, Huddersfield vs Leicester, Hull/Leyton orient vs Barnsley, Leeds/Birmingham vs Tottenham, Macclesfield vs Wigan/Bourenmouth, Middlesbrough vs Aldershot, Millwall vs Aston Villa, Norwich vs Luton, Oldham vs Liverpool, QPR/West Brom vs Sheffield Wednesday/MK Dons, Reading vs Sheffield United, Southend/Brentford vs Chelsea, West Ham/Manchester United vs Fulham/Blackpool.

Let's see what happens!

Ballon D'Or

The Ballon D'Or is awarded to the best male footballer of the year and in this case 2012. In the past couple of years it has been dominated by one man... Lionel Messi. Messi first won the award in 2009 were he beat Cristiano Ronaldo and Xavi.

However, the public have been thinking that maybe Messi will lose his title to Cristiano Ronaldo as Ronaldo had helped Madrid to win the La Liga, and the Copa Del Rey.

What a load of rubbish!

I would like to know how many records Ronlado has broken this year, compared to Lionel Messi. Ronaldo hasn't broken any records yet Messi has broken 6. Look at the difference...

And Lionel Messi proved victorious once again as he won the Ballon D'Or for the fourth consecutive time and setting a new record. Second was Cristanio Ronaldo and third was Andreas Iniesta.

Messi rightly won it because he scored a ridiculous 91 goals in 2012. And Ronaldo only scored a measly 50 goals. As a result of this, Lionel Messi will stay as the best player in the world and maybe will be the best player ever...

Transfers

The transfer window is open and ready for some big names to move to the Premier League. We've already had Daniel Sturridge move from Chelsea to Liverpool for £15 million, Daniel Carrico move from Sporting Lisbon to Reading for £609,000, Joe Cole looks set to rejoin West Ham for whom we scored 10 goals in 126 appearances. And finally Demba Ba looks set to join Chelsea for £7 million.

I think that there will be a lot more transfers during January and I reckon that Crystal Palace's Wilfred Zaha will move to the Premier League.

Let's see what happens!

Game Of The Week:Chelsea 0-1QPR

Once again QPR are on my game of the week post. But this time they are on the winning side with a shock victory over in form Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. Chelsea had the first chance of the game when Victor Moses made space for himself and his deflected cross fell to David Luiz who shot into the ground and bounced on top of the net. Chelsea kept on coming but failed to break down the QPR defence. At Half time QPR were looking the better side and wanted to capitalise on that. However Chelsea thought that they had a breakthrough when Frank Lampard powered a shot into the corner but was instantly flagged offside.

However with 12 minutes remaining a corner was delivered and David Luiz only half cleared it as it fell for Adel Taarabt cushioned a pass to Shaun Wright-Phillips who smahed the ball into the corner and left Chelsea with no chance. The former Chelsea man didn't celebrate but the fans did that for him.

To be honest, QPR deserved that win more than Chelsea and with Harry Houdini's help maybe they can escape relegation again. The other results were: West Brom 1-2 Fulham, Wigan 0-4 Manchester United, West Ham 2-1 Norwich, Tottenham 3-1 Reading, Swansea 2-2 Aston Villa, Manchester City 3-0 Stoke, Southampton 1-1 Arsenal, Liverpool 3-0 Sunderland, Newcastle 1-2 Everton.

Not much change in the Premier League table other than Everton move up to 5th at the expense of Arsenal and Liverpool have moved up to 8th at the expense of Swansea and Stoke.

Best Game since I haven't posted

For me my favourite game has been the final game of the premier league last season. Manchester City clinched the title with an incredibly close game against QPR. Man City had to better or match Manchester United's result. However Wayne Rooney gave Man Utd the lead after 20 minutes and silenced the Etihad. But Pablo Zabaleta hit back just 19 minutes later. But Djibril Cisse gave Manchester United hope after he scored from outside the area. Despite Joey Barton being sent off (typical!) QPR took the lead via Jamie Mackie. And it looked like Manchester United will win the title again.
But Edin Dzeko gave Manchester City a lifeline after he headed home David Silva's Corner. And then a miracle happened... Sergio Aguero latched onto a pass and fired into the bottom corner to send all Manchester City fans wild.

And guess who set up the winning goal? Of all people it was Mario Balotelli. Who is probably the most criticised football players of all time.

But Manchester City won the title and have moved on tremendously since that game. But some how they are now 7 points behind their rivals after losing to Manchester United and Sunderland. Let's see how the table looks at the moment:

Manchester United 52
Manchester City 45
Tottenham Hotspur 39
Chelsea 38
Arsenal 34
Everton 33
West Bromwich Albion 33
Swansea City 29
Stoke City 29
Liverpool 28
West Ham United 26
Norwich City 25
Fulham 24
Sunderland 22
Newcastle United 20
Aston Villa 19
Southampton 18
Wigan 18
Reading 13
Queens Park Rangers 10
